About us
At Sparrows and Lilies Senior Care, we believe every senior deserves to live with dignity, joy, and peace in the place they love most, their own home. We are a family-owned, faith-inspired in-home care agency proudly serving Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and the surrounding communities. Our name comes from Matthew 6:26–28, a gentle reminder that if God so beautifully clothes the lilies and cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for each of us in our later years.
Services
We provide compassionate, non-medical care that lets seniors remain independent while staying safe and connected. Our warm-hearted caregivers help with:

Request services
We provide companionship, personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, after-hours care, and overnight stays.
Hourly rates: $34 – $50 per hour (depending on the service and time of day).
Booking fee: A one-time, non-refundable $20 reservation fee is required to secure your first appointment. This $20 will be credited toward your final invoice.

Our rate is $38 per hour. A $20 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be credited toward your first visit.
Some days just need an extra pair of kind hands. Our caregivers provide personal care in the most respectful, private way possible — treating every senior with the same gentleness and dignity we would want for our own parents or grandmothers.
What personal care includes:
- Bathing or sponge baths (shower or bedside)
- Help getting dressed and choosing comfortable clothes
- Grooming: hair brushing, shaving, oral care, nail filing (no cutting)
- Toileting and incontinence care (with disposable briefs changed discreetly)
- Transfer assistance (from bed to chair, chair to walker, etc.)
- Mobility support and fall prevention while moving around the house
- Skin care and lotion to prevent dryness
We never rush. We always protect modesty (towels, robes, closed doors). And we always ask permission before helping — because trust and comfort come first.
Every caregiver is fully trained, background-checked, and chosen for their calm, patient hearts. Many families tell us, “She treats Mom exactly like I would.”
Often combined with companionship or meal prep at the same rate when scheduled together.
Personal care is never clinical — it’s simply one caring person helping another, the way family should.
